The work of the Ujima Friends Peace Center is to reduce violence and provide a safe haven with educational, cultural and recreational opportunities for adults and young people. Its current programs involve a variety of services and activities including a community summer Freedom School, the intergenerational menstrual pad sewing project for Africa, and a food give-away pantry.
